About this cartoon: Sometimes combining multiple concurrent news events can lead to a cartoon that is stronger than it would be had it focused on a single news story. In this case, the grisly murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi led Donald Trump to strangely contort himself to deny that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had any connection to the killing, just days before the EPA issued a particularly dire report of the catastrophic results the world could expect from climate change, which of course Trump also blindly denies.
